Starting January 1, 2014 the phase-out of traditional incandescent bulbs will begin as the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act comes into effect. The key piece of information is knowing the long-term benefits, like the fact that you would need 30 incandescent bulbs to last the 20-year lifetime of just one LED bulb.
