In 2011 Hicks Bradley was flipping through channels on TV when he landed on the show ‘How the Lottery Changed My Life’. The episode he saw revolved around Jason Fry, a lottery winner in 2007 who invested in owning a Batteries Plus Bulbs franchise and within 3 years turned it into the number one location in the country. Bradley, a seasonal pipeline construction worker at the time, had been looking for an investment opportunity that would allow him to be his own boss and spend more time with his family. After witnessing Fry’s story and investigating the company himself, Bradley came to the conclusion that Batteries Plus Bulbs was the right fit for him.
