Another benefit of LEDs is that they degrade much slower than other types of light bulbs, meaning you won’t have to replace them as often. An LED CCT downlight will last up to 50,000 hours of service life! That’s roughly 50 times the life of a comparable incandescent lamp.

CCT Downlights are Easy to Install

CCT is short for Correlated Color Temperature, which is just another way of referring to a light’s color temperature. Color temperature tells you how closely the light that the bulb is emitting corresponds to true daylight. This is invaluable as different color temperatures are suited to different industry needs. For instance, warehouses require lighting with higher color temperatures that are more suited to detail-oriented tasks, while a small office functions best in cool white light. For hotels and restaurants, you may want to opt for lighting that features a more inviting warm white hue.
