A significant category investment by Batteries Plus Bulbs from 2016 to 2017 resulted in a 42 percent increase in total sales growth of phone repair, while the light bulb replacement category grew 4.8 percent. The battery, bulb, and phone repair franchise also experienced a 3.7 percent increase in same-store sales and a 5.3 percent increase in system-wide sales.
