The new location opened on 3570 Fourth St. S.W. and provides nearly 60,000 different types of batteries, light bulbs and related products. Manager Tim Youtzy says the store can install batteries for items like key fobs and watches in five minutes. On top of that the store can also provide free battery installation on most makes/models of vehicles. Aside from batteries, Batteries Plus Bulbs also offers multiple options for interior and exterior lighting for homes and businesses and in-store repairs for smartphones and tablets. According to Youtzy, it is the only retail chain in the nation to specialize in batteries and light bulbs.
