A new Batteries Plus Bulbs recently opened in Fairfield under business and life partners, Ken Bean and Julie Kurasek. The store will offer access to nearly 60,000 types of batteries and light bulbs to their customers. The store also offers a We Fix It Repair Center that will assist with replacing batteries in watches, keyless entry, and smart phones, and also repairing Beats headphones, smartphones, tablets and so much more. The couple recently relocated from New Hampshire to Petaluma for new life and career opportunities. Prior to the move, Bean worked in retail as an independent sales rep and an owner of a large distribution company. With Bean's background and experience he plans on using his skills to train staff and educate locals about the wide range of products and services their store has to offer. Kurasek on the other hand, has worked with multiple big-box retailers in sales management and will use her skills to drive the store’s commercial sales and manage the staff.
