Batteries Plus Bulbs is a Wisconsin-based franchisor that was founded in 1988. The company is a specialty store that provides consumers with access to over 60,000 types of batteries and light bulbs. Batteries Plus Bulbs also repairs phones and tablets, along with offering retail and business customers various other services like battery installation and recycling. One of the most recently opened franchise locations opened in July, is located in Merrillville, Indiana. Merrillville is the second location for franchise owner and retired U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Chuck Rainey. Chuck opened his first store back in 2009 in Anderson. Both of Chuck's store will provide their customers with hard-to-find batteries that are not sold in big boxed stores.
