A new Batteries Plus Bulbs franchise opened a little before Christmas in D'Iberville under Carrie Lindgren and her partner, Chad Langley. Carrie was originally employed by Chad for four years in the Flowood store as a manager. Carrie explains how they have different kinds of batteries for different things like, hearing-aids, golf carts, cordless tools, cordless vacuums, security alarms, fire alarms, underground pet-fence systems, wheelchairs, riding toys, motorcycles, lawnmowers, boats, ATVs and automobiles. Carrie also mentions that they also carry batteries for any tech equipment, GPS units, computers, and cellphone batteries that come with a lifetime warranty. Carrie takes pride in the services and knowledge her and the staff can provide to customers. Customers may have the option of purchasing batteries online for less but they don't know how long the battery has been sitting in the warehouse, and age is a problem for batteries.
