OKC Franchisee Donates 4,000 Batteries to Local Fire Departments

Batteries Plus Bulbs takes pride as a company in striving to make a difference in the communities it serves. Oklahoma City area franchisee Brandon Boozer takes this a step further. Recently Boozer donated over $10,000 worth of batteries to Oklahoma City metro fire departments. Together with his mother, Boozer operates five Batteries Plus Bulbs locations in Oklahoma City and one in Lawton. The donated products will be used in part by local fire departments in their community fire prevention efforts along with other station needs. The rest of the donations will go to homes and businesses to keep smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors working. Boozer’s philanthropic deeds aren’t new. In 2013, after tornadoes decimated the Oklahoma City area, he worked alongside Batteries Plus Bulbs Corporate, to donate more than $125,000 in light bulbs, batteries, and flashlights to the communities impacted by the disaster.
