Shane and Kathy Young, a couple from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, were relaxing and watching TV one evening when they came across an episode of the show “How the Lottery Changed My Life”. The Young's had recently finalized the sale of their home heating oil business and knew they wanted to branch into franchising but were unsure what business they could see themselves in. The episode that they happened to turn to was of lottery winner Jason Fry whom used a portion of his earnings to open a Batteries Plus Bulbs location. The Youngs knew then that they had found the right company for them and their first Batteries Plus Bulbs store is set to open in the Muhlenberg Township next week. Read More opens in new window
